1999
Rock Cafe 2000 Launch
The beginning of our journey to bring live music to Stourbridge focused primarily on rock and alternative genres. It quickly became a beloved spot for tribute acts and touring original bands.
2009
River Rooms Opens
After nearly a decade of Rock Cafe 2000, we knew it was time for a change. We set out to create a more contemporary live music venue that would appeal to a broader audience. This transformation included extensive renovations, featuring a brand-new sound and lighting system, updated seating, and a revamped bar area.
2021
2nd Renovation
When the Covid-19 pandemic led to the closure of The River Rooms, we seized the opportunity to make some exciting changes. With the recent acquisition of the adjoining unit, we completely transformed the venue by relocating the restrooms. This allowed us to expand our bar, create more space for dancing, and install our VIP booths.
2024
Opening Of Stourbridge Social
In 2024, we proudly opened our brand-new adjoining venue, Stourbridge Social. This addition enhances our guests' experience, allowing you to savor delicious food, sip on premium hand-crafted cocktails, enjoy real ales and craft beers, and revel in a night of live music—all in one place.
